The Speech Pathologist will assess your child using assessment tools that best suit the needs of your child. They will compare your child’s presentation to standardised norms to determine if communication skills are at an age-appropriate level. If communication skills are delayed, the Speech Pathologist will recommend treatment, at which point frequency and length of sessions will be discussed. Using this information, you will then receive a Summary Report outlining the outcome of the assessment and recommended next steps.

Speech Therapy (Private): 60 minutes — $320 / 90 minutes — $360 / 120 minutes — $400

Occupational Therapy* (Private): 90 minutes — $460

The Speech Pathologist will target specific and individualised goals, based on the information gathered through Initial Assessment. The Speech Pathologist will, as much as possible, involve you as the Parent in the treatment process, by equipping you with strategies and specific home practice to carry out during the week.

Speech Therapy (Private): 30 minutes — $110 / 45 minutes — $140 / 60 minutes — $180

Occupational Therapy* (Private): 35 minutes (F2F) + 10 minutes of note-taking/planning — $145

50 minutes (F2F) + 10 minutes of note-taking/planning — $190

The Speech Pathologist will work with your child using specific assessments and questionnaires, as requested by the Language Development Centre (LDC) for an application. They will then analyse this information and provide feedback regarding your child’s presentation. The Speech Pathologist will discuss whether analysis of your child inidicates it is appropriate for you to apply for the LDC. The Speech Pathologist will complete the application form and provide all relevant data to the LDC prior to the closing date.

Private: 90 minutes — $400
